About FILASTINE:
Grey Filastine is an audio-visual artist born in Los Angeles, based in Barcelona, and often nomadic. He composes a dense transnational bass music that collides the lowest frequencies of dubstep with the highest-level beat science, acoustic strings, voices, and lofi street noises. The results are “awesome and delicate… hybrids so fluent they defy classification.” -Pitchfork

Performing up to a hundred concerts per year, Filastine triggers live riddims and synchronized video from a heap of electronics wired to an amplified shopping cart. You may have seen him at a sweaty Tokyo nightclub, a football stadium in Casablanca, a respected euro-fest like Sónar, in a parking lot in Borneo, during a Christiana riot, or touring the US with Bassnectar.

Before making electronic music Filastine played with the Infernal Noise Brigade, a marching band he founded for the Battle of Seattle. He continues to use audio as a tool of intervention with the Sound Swarm, an orchestra of bikemounted megaphones conducted by pirate radios transmitters. Do not miss this rare opportunity to see him play in the UK.

Introducing the DANZSHLAG resident DJS:

Shibby Shitegeist (Bristol/London)
As DJ and videographer, Shibby has created the signature DANZSHLAG visuals, and plays a pounding blend of glitchy minimal, cheeky melodies, and low-frequency driven tech-house, breaks and dub-techno. She takes having a sense of humor on the dance floor seriously.

She has regularly played at underground parties across the UK at venues such as: Cavern Club, Russian Bar, Maggies, The Croft, The Island, Basement 45, Red Star, Exeter Castle, Exeter Phoenix, Question Mark, Scream Bar, Aeon Festival and more. She is also a resident DJ for Jam-the-Channel
(www.jamthechannel.com).

Bunni Splanchnik (London)
DJ and producer, Bunni plays a unique blend of charismatic and quirky techno infused with everything from 1920s big band, Chilean folk, flamenco and African singing, anything goes and as long as it is still driving the dance floor - you can expect the unexpected!

As co-founder of DANZSHLAG and more recently Man V. Machine, Bunni has been putting on parties and playing in London, Exeter, Bristol, Plymouth and Norwich and has DJed at warehouse parties, club nights, and venues such as Public Life, The Lord Napier, Russian Bar, Basement 45, Under The Dust studios, Question Mark, The Red Star, 512, Bar Vinyl, Electro Kitchen (Paris).
